How to Transfer files from a Hard Disk Drive to a Network-Attached Storage.

I'm on overtime (unofficial), waiting for some video files to finish transferring from a HDD to a NAS, when I got bored and finally thought of finding ways over the Internet to copy big files between said storages in a much faster way.

It's almost a click away. I'm surprised. I thought I was alone with this problem. Like duh!

Here's what I found (in gist):
' Note: the ff. are online searches, so none of these, of course, is original, much less mine.

1. Take out the drive from the NAS and connect thru SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) to the PC
or
2. Plug the HDD directly to the NAS via USB

Obviously, the last part's the easiest. However, I will not be able to do either. (for reasons I will not tell.)

TerraCopy is also recommended, which I tried before this post. But. Let's just say it didn't work for me.

What I do and what I will keep doing, is copy the said files in chunks. Sucks by the way. Takes forever.

Right now, I'm copying (or trying to) a 1.80 GB video folder from a PC to NAS, and this is what happens:

Normally, I have to transfer 10-20 GB a day, especially these days that the poor hard drive is screaming bloody red. Yeah, screaming. That's how alarming it is. And then it actually gets worse, like:

Yeah.

Deleting is the best way, I tell you. Just Delete It All. Let it go.
