The Weird As We Know It

Tell me, if weird happens to you so much, would you still call it weird?

Is it weird to have a brain that works at its best when it's near/during/after midnight?

Is it weird to be absurdly lucky and fortunate in so many ways when you have no idea how in the world you deserve all of it?

Is it not weird being told by a stranger that they'd give you money without asking for anything in return and have that money actually received by you? (circa 09, PEXer days)

Isn't it weird having your roommate witnessed you do the sign of the cross at least (her calculation, not mine) 20 times in your sleep?!

Isn't it weird that on the night before you took a tumble in your workplace, you wondered what your embarrassing moment at work was?

Isn't it weird being a woman driving from a city towards another city that is 115 kilometers away, on a motorcycle, by herself?

Would you call something weird when that same woman does that kind of driving the day after she had an official travel that requires getting a (very long) ride around the seemingly non-drivable roads of Dinagat Islands in a single day, on, yet again, a motorcycle?

Is it weird for that woman to feel dumbfounded when people start calling her after she texts them that yes, "I'm still alive and actually got home safely", telling her with condescending looks, "What the hell were you thinking!?", "You're crazy!" and "You do not do that at all!" or have people just look at her like she's from another planet?

Is it weird if that woman does not feel even a tiny bit of remorse and sees no reason why she's met with such scolding?

Really, perception is everything.
