FEU got the bronze..and the UST jinxed! wew.
FEU won over SSC(R) 2-0 for a third placer on the Shakey's V-League this season. UST got their winning version over Adamson on the finals, expectedly.
FEU's guest player RAD ( aka Rachel Anne Daquis ) led her team to their last hope of getting a trophy. SSC-R, on the other hand, having played inconsistently on this season, went home with nothing. Baste's guest player Ginni Mondejar played very well on the FEU-SSC(R) first game (although they still lost), but couldn't redo the "well" version on the second one, instead she got too many errors. Benito couldn't do much for her team eitherl, probably because she's too used to play with teammate Margarita Pepito. Marge got injured on the first AdU-SSC(R) semis match when she accidentally fell on her teammate's foot. Too unfortunate for their team. But RAD, there was no way stopping her, with 29 points on the first battle for third match and 20 on the second, she amazingly grabbed the POG award 2nd time in a row. If only a guest player was a possible MVP candidate, she could have it. Instead of giving the award to Aiza Maizo of UST. How awful on the league's part to let it happen. She isn't even in the top 5 highest scorers list. If the league's officials had to choose the MVP player from the winning team, Ma. Angeli Tabaquero should be their pick. She's the only UST player who makes sense for her team, anyway.
Talking about Aiza Maizo and Ma. Angeli Tabaquero, they're now the few of the new players for the RP Women's Volleyball team.
