Tell me about yourself...

Ha!
Tell me about yourself... da da da da da... how do you tell people about yourself exactly? Cliché or not, I have not found the perfect answer to that question yet.

We are about to graduate. I am about to graduate - did I tell you that yet? lol. And they say if we are to graduate, we should at least know how to apply for a job, know all the tricks on how to behave when in an interview, things that are really meaningless if you are not planning to have a job. Did I tell you about that part too? About me not wanting a job? Not literally, but I'm not talking about that here.

In an interview, one of the most common questions asked is that question (supposedly). Today, we had some glimpse of our future as interviewees when we were interviewed each by some of the Faculty and Admin members. And of course, the "Tell me about yourself" was very popular, never missing all of my three sessions with three different interviewers. Of all the questions, honest to Dear God, that was the hardest. Harder than the other cliché questions (Why should I hire you?, How long do you plan to stay in the company? bla bla bla) and even maintaining eye contact - a must too. God only knows what the question will do to me in an actual interview. I don't remember much of what I answered to that question, which only means whatever I said didn't have any substance in it. So I wonder why all three interviewers let me get away from it, the today's activity.

The one common comment the interviewers told me? I think I wrote it in my diary. Oh nah! But I will write it in my diary anyway. We don't need redundancy, do we?
